Meeting a "Higher Up"

( I can't believe I actually freaking /stayed/ there until someone showed up. What's going on with me? And the guy who did? Ho.Lee.Shit. I seriously thought I might either wet myself, or leave in two more pieces than I walked in as. But ya know? At the end of it all - Skylar was right. It's not like I imagined it would be. Things are different here. And my fiasco a few weeks ago really proves the point that me, solo, here... is not an ideal formula. Question is, can I really give this a go, or will I flake? If they're willing to offer help in my search, I'd be a fool not to give this a shot. For his sake if nothing else. )
